Worship Night
We'll be meeting tonight at 6pm at Fairview MB Church for our monthly worship night. Our worship time tonight will be together with our churches (Fairview & Scott St) plus some others. We'll be joining MB Mission's AWAKE Niagara event...worshiping God together and learning more about His great love for us and for the world we live in!

Easter Stuff
NEMBY!!!
This weekend is Easter! Because Easter weekend is typically a time that families have a lot of get-togethers, we're not actually going to be having youth on Friday night. DON'T PANIC THOUGH! There's loads of opportunity for us to still be together this weekend! Here's the list of events you can come to:
FRIDAY 10:30 AM AT SCOTT ST MB CHURCH - all of our churches will be meeting TOGETHER for a Good Friday service! Awesome! YOU SHOULD COME! This is a formal church service so make sure you COME ON TIME! If you're not sure where to sit, just look for other members of NEMBY (we usually sit at the front of the sanctuary). FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR FAMILY ALONG!
SUNDAY 6:45 AM AT JONES BEACH (142 Broadway...just over the canal) - I know this is early, but this will be the follow-up to the Bible study we had on Tuesday. We already remembered the horrific death of Christ and at this service we'll be celebrating his resurrection and life as we watch the sunrise! Trust me it's worth getting up early for :) Also, we always go to Perkins afterward for breakfast so if you want to come for breakfast then make sure you bring money along.

Stations of the Cross
NEMBY!!!
Today is Tuesday! That means we'll be meeting tonight for our youth Bible Study!!! We're going to be doing something different for it tonight. We'll MEET AT FAIRVIEW MB CHURCH at 7pm. We'll read through the Easter story and then we'll be going through something called the stations of the cross to help us understand different aspects of what Jesus went through on that first Easter...what exactly we're celebrating and remembering every Easter. I just went through it and it was really good!

March Break Movie Marathon
NEMBY!!!!
This Friday...TOMORROW...is our annual March Break MOVIE MARATHON!!!! It'll be an amazing afternoon & evening of cinematic beauty and endurance! YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT!!!
In order to get all the movie magic into one great night, we're going to be STARTING AT 4PM! We'll take a pizza break after the first movie so bring $5 along if you want pizza.
4-10pm at Scott St MB Church (339 Scott St). Wear your comfy clothes and feel free to bring blankets.

NO BIBLE STUDY
NEMBY!!!
I hope you're having a great MARCH BREAK!!! Because of March Break we WILL NOT BE HAVING BIBLE STUDY TONIGHT!
However, we will be having BREAKFAST together at 10am on Thursday morning. Sam & I will be making delicious crepes at Scott St MB Church. Bring $3 along to help cover the cost and come join us! (p.s. can we get 1 or 2 volunteers to come at 9:30 to help us make the food?)

This is happening TOMORROW NIGHT!!! 7pm at Scott St MB Church (339 Scott St). KD Cook Off!!!
NEMBY!!!!
Tonight is the night when we will finally put the KD debate to an end with our first ever Kraft Dinner Cook Off!!! We will meet at Scott St MB Church at 7pm and here are some basic guidelines for tonight:
1. Feel free to keep it simple or turn this simple pantry staple into a culinary masterpiece. We will provide the basics...a box of KD, milk, and butter. If you want to make it fancy with some add-ins then go ahead and bring whatever you want.
2. You will be in groups of 2 or 3, but don't feel like you need to pre-select groups or feel stressed if you don't have a group...we can divide up once we're all here.
3. The KD creations will be judged, but don't worry, they will be blind taste tests to ensure that the judges won't be biased.
4. THIS IS GOING TO BE UNREAL!!!

The weather forecast for tonight is calling for icy roads and judging by what's happening outside right now, I'm pretty sure it's an accurate forecast. Soooooo, because I love all of you so incredibly much and therefore would be heartbroken if something terrible happened to you, I am cancelling Bible Study for tonight.

Worship Night

BREAKING NEWS: Make sure you come on time to youth tonight, because after we finish our worship night WE'RE GOING TO MARK DANGER'S CONCERT at Mahtay Cafe!!!! Super exciting!!!! His concert starts at 9pm though, so we've got to be wrapped up and downtown by 9pm. There is no cover charge for the concert, but I would recommend that you bring some money along to buy a drink or cookie or something.
REMEMBER 7PM at FAIRVIEW MB CHURCH and then whoever wants to see Mark do his thing can come downtown with us for 9pm.

Bible Study

We've got Bible Study tonight! 7pm at Scott St. We'll be looking at the next chapter in the Gospel of Matthew (Chapter 16) which looks at Jesus starting to prepare himself and his disciples for the next stage of his ministry...it's kind of heavy.

Mafia

Sorry that this info is coming in so late, but WE'VE GOT YOUTH TOMORROW NIGHT!!!! We'll be meeting at SCOTT ST MB AT 7PM for a good old game of Mafia! Normally, I would have been a bit more creative with this announcement, but I'm going to be honest...it's been a busy week. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow though and hope that my tardiness and lack of creativity won't stop you from coming :)

Winter Retreat!!!
NEMBY!!!
This weekend is our annual WINTER YOUTH RETREAT!!!! It’s going to be loads of crazy fun!!! Here are all the important details:
- We’re meeting at Vineland Southridge (3970 Glendale Ave, Vineland) at 5pm
- Bring money along for our supper stop on the way
- If you have your stuff in a black garbage bag then make sure to put some coloured tape or some sort of marker on it so you can easily identify it in the sea of other black garbage bags! I’m not kidding, this will be key in you finding your stuff.
- Remember to pack a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, snow pants, winter jacket, scarf, mittens, toque, skates & helmet (if you want to go skating), warm clothes, Bible, pen
- Tell your parents we are expecting to arrive back at Vineland Southridge at 4pm on Sunday. They should be ready to pick you up at that time. We will text or call them if we are running late.
