T-Shirt Designs

Alright All,

As you know I've been working on some T-shirt designs and I desperatly want feedback! So, going from left to right, top to bottom, the first design would be in black ink, it could be done on any colour. The second is white (and I put it on black) it could be done on any colour. Next is neon green which was me having some fun, but really we could do pretty much any colour. Next up is a logo I've called the "retro logo". I tried to mimic this design that was on shirts that were found in the church attic like 10yrs. ago (and who knows when they were actually made). It's a bit of a joke, but if enough interest is there I'll put out a re-edition. I would do it on a red golf shirt as was the original, although the original logo was all white, I think black will be easier...and I don't know how well they'll be able to do the vehicle logo. Next up are 3 other possibilities. You can see the differences...the one there with the church logo outside of it, I would think that we'd put the church logo on another location.

My thoughts are...the second design (white on black) in the front centre of a hoodie with "scott street mennonite brethren youth" in small all in lower caps just like that at the but of the hoodie (on the back).

And for a T-shirt the same logo on the back (about shoulder height bellow the neck).

And if interest is there the retro design on a red golf shirt.

Those are my thoughts, now lets hear yours!

Also...what would you be willing to pay...take note that because your youth pastor is who he is, I will be going out of my way to find someone who uses N.A. manufactured clothing so that will effect the cost. I could go with a guy who uses stuff manufactured in Honduras and it'd be mad cheep, but that wouldn't sit well with me and I hope that's not what SSMBY is or will ever be about!

If you would be willing to buy 2 items, let me know that, because I'll go with what people will buy and it's only worth it if we get a bunch. Now comment!

Welcome to the SSMBY Blog

Hello all,

So here's the deal. I just invested/wasted time making this blog. Honestly the better half of a day, but I "learned" some html in the process...what's the deal, I'm pushing 30 I shouldn't be learning computer languages...I still know how to speak comodore 64*.

Anyways, I did this so that I can post the ongoings of youth. Also, I did it so that you guys can comment on youth. For example, I'll post our calandar on here...a helpful tool for you all I'm certain. But, I'll also post what the coming Friday's event is...and THEN you can all comment on that event afterwards. Say what you liked, and what you'd want to see different if we did it again, that sort of thing. So this is not only a information giving area, it is also a feedback recieving area.

I'll probably also give posting access to the other adult youth leaders...and they can post whatever they deem postworthy. I myself, for example may write blurbs from time to time and I'd love to get your comments. I'm not sure what this space will all become, I guess as the songstress Sarah McLaughlin says, "Only time will tell".

So...start here...tell me what you think of this. Give suggestions!
